Intravesical therapy

Any therapy conducted within the bladder may be referred to as "intravesical therapy". Common intravesical therapies are aimed at treating cancer or urinary incontinence.

Electro-stimulation of the bladder's detrusor muscle or the injection of chemicals into the bladder to fight cancer are specific examples of intravesical therapies.
