Bladder compliance

A term used when referring to the ability of the bladder to stretch or expand in order to be able to hold a ‚Äúnormal‚ÄĚ quantity of urine.

Persons suffering from urinary incontinence (UI) may have their bladders ‚Äúcompliance‚ÄĚ measured (by a doctor) against a statistically healthy bladder capacity (and pressure) for their given age.
